Senior Hardware Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Hardware Engineer to join our innovative engineering team. As a Senior Hardware Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing high-performance hardware systems and components. You will mentor junior engineers, oversee complex projects, and contribute to the overall technical direction of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the design, development, and testing of advanced hardware systems and electronic components.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and specifications.
3. Analyze and troubleshoot hardware issues, ensuring designs meet performance, reliability, and cost targets.
4. Conduct feasibility studies and prototype designs for new products and improvements.
5. Review and mentor junior engineers and assist in skill development.
6. Prepare technical documentation, including design specifications, reports, and test results.
7. Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality control measures.
8. Work with software engineers to ensure seamless integration between hardware and software systems.
9. Stay updated with emerging technologies and implement innovations into hardware designs.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, or a related field.
2. 3+ years of experience in hardware engineering or a related field.
3. Extensive knowledge of digital and analog circuit design, PCB design, and hardware testing.
4. Proficiency in hardware simulation and design tools (e.g., Altium, Eagle, or equivalent.
5. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
6. Experience in leadership or mentoring roles is a plus.
7. Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
8. Experience with MATLAB/Simulink for simulation and modeling.

Additional Skills:

1. Experience with FPGA, microcontroller-based systems, or embedded systems.
2. Strong communication skills and the ability to present technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
3. Proficiency in hardware description languages such as VHDL, Verilog, and SystemVerilog.
4. Strong experience in C/C++ for embedded systems and low-level hardware control.
