Job Summary
On behalf of our client, we are seeking a highly competent Hotel Finance Manager to oversee the financial health of the hotel and ensure profitability. The successful candidate will be responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, cost control, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations while supporting strategic decision-making.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily financial operations including accounts payable, receivable, and payroll
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, P&L reports, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
- Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial plans
- Implement cost control measures to maximize revenue and minimize expenses
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, tax regulations, and industry standards
- Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations to improve profitability
- Collaborate with department heads to enhance financial performance and efficiency
- Supervise and manage the finance team, including training and performance management
- Manage internal and external audits, ensuring proper documentation
- Oversee cash management, banking relationships, and reconciliations
- Support capital expenditure planning and financial risk assessment
- Utilize financial systems to ensure accurate and timely reporting
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Professional certification (CPA/ACCA) is an added advantage
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a finance role, preferably in the hospitality industry
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting principles, and tax regulations
- Proficiency in financial systems (e.g., IDS, Opera, SUN, SAP, or similar)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
