Required Skills and Competencies

Strong knowledge of petrol and diesel engine diagnostics, maintenance, and repair
Ability to identify faults and implement preventive maintenance programs
Fleet monitoring, vehicle tracking, and fuel management skills
Spare-parts inventory and stock control experience
Knowledge of transport regulations and occupational health and safety standards
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Transport & Logistics Management, or a related field
Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years in workshop operations or fleet management
Licensing: Valid driver’s license (heavy-vehicle license is an added advantage)
IT Skills: Basic computer literacy, including MS Office and fleet management systems
