Job Description

On behalf of the client, we are looking for an assistant workshop and fleet manager who can join the company's team.

Requirements

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of petrol and diesel engine diagnostics, maintenance, and repair
  • Ability to identify faults and implement preventive maintenance programs
  • Fleet monitoring, vehicle tracking, and fuel management skills
  • Spare-parts inventory and stock control experience
  • Knowledge of transport regulations and occupational health and safety standards
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Transport & Logistics Management, or a related field
  • Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years in workshop operations or fleet management
  • Licensing: Valid driver’s license (heavy-vehicle license is an added advantage)
  • IT Skills: Basic computer literacy, including MS Office and fleet management systems
