Job Summary
On behalf of our client, we are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Truck Sales Representative to lead truck sales operations within the mining and heavy equipment sector. The ideal candidate, preferably an Indian male professional, will drive business growth by identifying opportunities, managing clients relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction through professional sales strategies and market insight.
Requirements
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the promotion and sale of trucks and related services to clients within the mining and heavy equipment industries.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key customers, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and repeat business.
- Identify new business opportunities through field visits, research, and market networking.
- Prepare and present sales quotations, proposals, and contracts to clients in a professional manner.
- Supervise and guide junior sales staff to achieve departmental targets.
- Collaborate with technical, logistics, and after-sales teams to ensure smooth order processing and customer support.
- Provide detailed product demonstrations and represent the company at trade shows and industry events.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies to recommend improvements.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports and performance updates to management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Sales and Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of proven experience in truck sales or the heavy equipment/automotive industry.
- Strong understanding of trucks, heavy-duty machinery, and the mining sector.
- Proficient in modern research and communication tools (AI applications, Google tools, Maps, etc.).
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and capable of working under minimal supervision.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills to support junior team members.
