Job Description
On behalf of our company we are looking for a procurement officer who is a degree/diploma/ professional level III in materials managment or procurement and logistics managment.
Requirements
Duties and Responsibilities
- Authorizing the receipts of goods and confirming its quantity and quality.
- Carrying out reconciliation of physical stocks against records.
- Ensuring maintenance and amendment of stock level figure.
- Ensures efficient stock control levels are maintained (Inventory Analysis and Control).
- Responsible for clearing and forwarding activities.
- Evaluating vendor performing and advice accordingly.
- Maintaining an up-to-date filing system on pricing and vendors to ensure immediate and accurate
access to information. - Takes responsibility of physical stocks.
- Conducts physical checks and accounts of received goods.
- Arranges for physical placement i.e. location and banning.
- Arranges packing and deliveries.
- Performs any other related duties as may be assigned by one’s reporting officer.
- Experience in procurement within the Hospitality industry is preferred
Personal Attributes
- Strong knowledge of procurement principles, supply chain management, and contract
management - Excellent negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong leadership and communication skill
