Job Description

On behalf of our company we are looking for a procurement officer who is a degree/diploma/ professional level III in materials managment or procurement and logistics managment.

Requirements

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Authorizing the receipts of goods and confirming its quantity and quality.
  • Carrying out reconciliation of physical stocks against records.
  • Ensuring maintenance and amendment of stock level figure.
  • Ensures efficient stock control levels are maintained (Inventory Analysis and Control).
  • Responsible for clearing and forwarding activities.
  • Evaluating vendor performing and advice accordingly.
  • Maintaining an up-to-date filing system on pricing and vendors to ensure immediate and accurate
    access to information.
  • Takes responsibility of physical stocks.
  • Conducts physical checks and accounts of received goods.
  • Arranges for physical placement i.e. location and banning.
  • Arranges packing and deliveries.
  • Performs any other related duties as may be assigned by one’s reporting officer.
  • Experience in procurement within the Hospitality industry is preferred

Personal Attributes

  • Strong knowledge of procurement principles, supply chain management, and contract
    management
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong leadership and communication skill
