Junior Hardware Engineer

Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Entry-Level Hardware Engineer to join our growing team. As a Junior Hardware Engineer, you will support the design, development, and testing of hardware components and systems under the guidance of senior engineers. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or individuals with limited professional experience to develop their skills in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the design, development, and testing of hardware components and systems.
2. Support senior engineers in creating prototypes and conducting hardware testing.
3. Perform basic troubleshooting and diagnostics on hardware systems.
4. Help with the assembly of hardware prototypes and final products.
5. Assist with documentation related to hardware designs, test plans, and results.
6. Work closely with the engineering team to understand project requirements and learn about industry standards.
7. Participate in design reviews and contribute ideas for hardware improvements.
8. Continuously learn about new technologies and hardware development techniques.

Qualifications:

1. Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, or a related field.
2. Limited to no professional experience in hardware engineering (internships and projects in school count as experience).
3. Basic experience with MATLAB for modeling and simulation purposes.
4. Basic understanding of digital and analog circuits, PCB design, and hardware testing principles.
5. Familiarity with hardware design and simulation tools (e.g., Altium, Eagle, etc.) is a plus.
6. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
8. Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment.

Additional Skills:

1. Experience with microcontroller-based systems, FPGA, or embedded systems is a plus.
2. Knowledge of industry standards for hardware design and safety regulations is desirable.
3. Proficiency in basic digital design and experience with VHDL, Verilog, or SystemVerilog.
4. Familiarity with embedded system programming using C/C++.
