Job Purpose:
The Key Account Sales Executive will be responsible for managing and expanding relationships with key accounts within the FMCG industry, with a focus on alcoholic beverages. The role involves driving sales, maximizing account profitability, and ensuring customer satisfaction, particularly within the wine and spirits segment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Account Management:
- Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with key accounts in the alcoholic beverages sector.
- Develop strategic plans for key accounts, ensuring tailored solutions that align with client needs and company objectives.
- Ensure effective communication and support to resolve issues promptly.
- Sales & Business Development:
- Introduce new products to key accounts, particularly in the wine and spirits category, driving product visibility and market share.
- Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and drive business expansion.
- Achieving sales targets and objectives for assigned accounts.
- Lead negotiations and manage commercial agreements.
- Market & Competitor Analysis:
- Monitor market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for sales growth.
- Provide market insights to support product development, marketing, and pricing strategies.
- Reporting & Data Analysis:
- Track and report on account performance metrics, including sales volume, revenue, and profitability.
- Prepare regular sales forecasts and reports for management.
- Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and propose actionable solutions.
- Collaboration & Teamwork:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, logistics, and finance) to ensure smooth execution of account strategies.
- Work closely with the wine and spirits team to enhance product promotion and customer engagement.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the FMCG industry, with a strong preference for candidates with experience in alcoholic beverages.
- Proven success in managing key accounts and achieving sales targets.
- Experience in the wine and spirits sector is highly desirable and will be an added advantage.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to analyze market trends and translate them into actionable strategies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM systems.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or any related field.
- Professional certifications in sales or account management would be advantageous.
