Reports to: Sales Manager

Job Purpose:

The Key Account Sales Executive will be responsible for managing and expanding relationships with key accounts within the FMCG industry, with a focus on alcoholic beverages. The role involves driving sales, maximizing account profitability, and ensuring customer satisfaction, particularly within the wine and spirits segment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Management:
    1. Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with key accounts in the alcoholic beverages sector.
    2. Develop strategic plans for key accounts, ensuring tailored solutions that align with client needs and company objectives.
    3. Ensure effective communication and support to resolve issues promptly.
  • Sales & Business Development:
    1. Introduce new products to key accounts, particularly in the wine and spirits category, driving product visibility and market share.
    2. Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and drive business expansion.
    3. Achieving sales targets and objectives for assigned accounts.
    4. Lead negotiations and manage commercial agreements.
  • Market & Competitor Analysis:
    1. Monitor market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for sales growth.
    2. Provide market insights to support product development, marketing, and pricing strategies.
  • Reporting & Data Analysis:
    1. Track and report on account performance metrics, including sales volume, revenue, and profitability.
    2. Prepare regular sales forecasts and reports for management.
    3. Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and propose actionable solutions.
  • Collaboration & Teamwork:
    1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, logistics, and finance) to ensure smooth execution of account strategies.
    2. Work closely with the wine and spirits team to enhance product promotion and customer engagement.

Key Requirements:

  1. Minimum 3 years of experience in the FMCG industry, with a strong preference for candidates with experience in alcoholic beverages.
  2. Proven success in managing key accounts and achieving sales targets.
  3. Experience in the wine and spirits sector is highly desirable and will be an added advantage.
  4. Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  5. Ability to analyze market trends and translate them into actionable strategies.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM systems.
  7. Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or any related field.
  2. Professional certifications in sales or account management would be advantageous.
