Job Description
On behalf of our client, we are seeking a competent Operations Officer to oversee daily transport operations, fleet coordination, and ensure efficient service delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in logistics/transport operations and the ability to manage drivers and operational activities effectively.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily fleet operations and scheduling
- Monitor vehicle movement, fuel usage, and performance
- Ensure timely delivery of goods and services
- Supervise drivers and operational staff
- Ensure compliance with transport regulations and safety standards
- Handle operational challenges and provide timely solutions
- Prepare operational reports (daily, weekly, monthly)
- Coordinate maintenance and servicing of vehicles
- Monitor costs and support efficiency improvements
Qualifications:
- Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Transport Management, or related field
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in transport/logistics operations
- Strong coordination and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and team management skills
- Basic computer skills (Excel and reporting systems)
